Ok, my cheap dynamic mic is driving me nuts, I feel as if I deserve something better for my recordings. That's why I came here to ask about AKG Perception 100. Is it really all that good? From the reviews I've read, everyone's insanely happy about it, so I want to make sure I'll be happy too once I get it.

Ok, this is something I've never had enough time to finish. And when I thought I had finished it, I realized I just built the roots and it needs to be improved in many ways. I'm just so tired right now and I want someone to hear it, so I put it here. Hope you'll like it.
Future updates: I will probably re-record 3/4 of the vocals.
I will record a guitar solo in the bridge where the vocals end.
I will re-record the main melody that you hear in the intro. I recorded it with a mic through an amp, but my mic is a really cheap dynamic one and it's really hard to get a nice sound with it, so I'll probably just plug the guitar into the USB interface and record it the easy way.
I will add some more backing vocals.


Yes I know I'm out of tune at some points, but in the end I was basically just rushing to finish the record and that was a mistake, so I'll re-do it. Anyway, tell me what you think. Critique is welcome.

And yeah, it's a bit long.. But it's the first song I ever finished, so I'm kinda proud of that.

Okay, so this is something I've been working for quite a while now and I'm really proud of it, because it's actually the first song I ever wrote! You are the witnesses:D. By saying that I mean that it's the first FINISHED song. I have a lot of lyrics and musical ideas on guitar pro, but this is the first thing that I finish. I've been a lazy guy since the time I started playing guitar and singing but something happened recently, I told myself that I must do it and I did!
This is just a demo though, because I haven't recorded the whole song yet. But I built the drums/bass track already, so I only need to record the vocals and guitar now. I hope you'll like it because I'm very happy with what came out.  But I know it's not perfect, so feel free to open my eyes:D

So I'm thinking of buying Edirol UA-1EX USB audio interface for my recordings and I wanted to hear some opinions about it. If you have it yourself - tell me everything you can. If you don't, but you've used some other USB interfaces, tell me about them, because I'm completely new to them. Thanks in advance!

Ok, guys, I'm back   Though I'm back with some difference, I'm more of a guitar guy, than pianist. The idea came out on guitar, but later I re-arranged it for piano.
As you will probably notice, that's not a real piano, because I don't own one. This is just a plugin in FL Studio. But I did my best to make it sound realistic.
At the moment I'm a little sick, so I'm at home and can't go out, but I can clearly see the autumn coming, and I love it, I think it's really beautiful, it inspires me to create music, write lyrics. The title is Autumn, because probably everything that comes out in these months is going to be somehow related with it.
Tell me what you think, I know there's something I could correct, there's something I don't like, but I can't figure out what it is.
